What is this? The monthly business meeting for the group. An excellent place to meet officers and see what is happening now and in the future of al-Barran.
Directions: Take I-40 to the Eubank Blvd exit (No. 165). Turn south onto Eubank Blvd. Continue onto Eubank Blvd past Central Avenue. Turn left onto Southern Avenue. The Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center is at 501 Elizabeth St SE, Albuquerque, NM 87123 at the corner of Southern and Elizabeth.

Fighter Practice: Sundays 11AM-4PM, at
Bataan Park
What is this? The weekly martial practice for both heavy/hardsuit and rapier/fencing fighters. Come see the clash of arms and talk to the people of the community.
Directions: Bataan Park is on the north side of Lomas Blvd. just west of Carlisle Blvd.

Westside Fighter Practice: Tuesdays at 6PM and the 1st and 3rd Saturdays at 11AM, at
Paradise Hills Park (NE corner near skate park).
Directions: Take your best route to Rio Rancho. If coming up the hill from Cottonwood Mall or from Bernallio take NM528 to Southern. Turn West on Southern and go to Nicklaus. Turn right (North) on Nicklaus go to Casper which will be your second left. Turn onto Casper and follow it up to Snead Loop which will be your second left. Turn onto Snead Loop and follow it around until you see the park.

Archery Practice: Saturdays at 10AM, Master Tore's and Wednesdays at 5ish (beginning 4/2) at Sir Stefan's.
Master Tore's Range: East Mountains
Directions: From Albuquerque, take 1-40 Eastbound. Exit at Tijeras and go South (Right Lane). At the stop light, go straight, onto Highway 337 (old South 14). Go about 10 miles through Cibola National Forest. At mile marker 20 (Village of Yrisarri) look on your right for Woodpecker Road. Turn onto the second (South one) Woodpecker. Master Tore's is the first property on your left. Parking is available at the top of the property.Sir Stefan's Range: 2407 Broadway NE, just south of Menaul
Directions: Immediately South of the pink apartments on Broaway. Park at the business on the Southwest corner of Broadway and Menaul. To get to the archery field, head West along the utility easement immediately NORTH of the driveway (and South of the pink apartments), along side the fence just to the South and one should find themselves in the back field.What is this? Weekly practice to sharpen your skills for the range and the field.

GGN is an interest group within the Barony of al-Barran exploring costuming, many different threadwork techniques (including but not limited to embroidery, lacis, netting, bobbin or needle lace, beading, needlepoint, inkle loom, cardweaving, etc), and other crafts. Please join us. We don't meet in garb and you can work on the month's emphasis or bring your own project.

Practice:Want to add to the musical atmosphere at feasts and events? Come join the al-Barran court dance musicians; instrumentalists interested in playing live music for court dancing please consider attending. The idea is to have live court musicians available instead of the cd player at some events. Please visit the website to download current music to practice.

What is this? A group of workshops happening within the Barony of al-Barran that will explore the study and application of all types of weaving and their history.
