Important Information

  • No need to panic, we will be hosting Youth Activities afterall. Our dedicated staff are working on many Outlandish activities for the Youths. Stay tuned to this page for information, activities and rules as they develop.
  • Be sure to bring activities and assistance for the fun and comfort of your Youths.

Rules For Youths (and the adults too!) at Outlandish

  1. Major rule is THIS IS NOT A BABYSITTING SERVICE!!!!!
  2. Parent must sign child in to the pavilion. The must put their name, encampment.
  3. Said parent must volunteer 1 hour of their time during the event to children's activities tent.
  4. No fighting, swearing or disruption of classes. The child will be asked to stop said action once, if they do not stop they will be escorted back to their encampment.
  5. All children must have fun or they will be sold as slaves to the Pyrates or fed to the Troll which ever bids higher for them.
  6. All activities will be played and participated in the spirit of the game.
  7. SAFETY FIRST!!!!!!

Youth Activity Schedule

Are you wanting to come to GOT but do not know what you will do with your smalls? And smalls, are you coming to GOT but don't know what to do? Well let me give you some ideas:

We will have a bead class taught by MerMary Rainette. Youth combat tournies and construction classes, coloring contest, teasure box making, barried treasure hunt and much more.

Think your to old for these things? Well there will be stuff for the teens as well! Some of these things will be belly dancing class and competition, field games, bardics and more.

Youth Archery Shoot Sunday - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Youth archery shoot concurrent with the Royal Archer shoot on Sunday. 6 bows will be available during the shoot and then to give away (but only to parents!).

Kubb Challenge Friday - 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Kubb is a Scandinavian stick throwing game. Teams of 2 people, of any age, will be able to challenge each other to up to three games of Kubb (that is, no 2 teams may play more than 3 games against each other) The Kubb field will be set up from 10am Friday until 4pm Sunday. The team with the most total wins will be declared victorious.

Pall Mall Tournament Friday - 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Pall Mall is an early ancestor of Croquet and Golf., which will be played using Croquet equipment. This tournament will be played by 3 man teams (again, of any age). Lists will open at 3pm on Friday, and the first round will be played at 4pm. The second round will be played at 10 am on Saturday, and the third at 4pm on Saturday. If necessary, further rounds will be played on Sunday.

Pall Mall Tournament Saturday - 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Pall Mall is an early ancestor of Croquet and Golf., which will be played using Croquet equipment. This tournament will be played by 3 man teams (again, of any age).
