Greetings to the Great Populace of the Outlands!

I am Lady Bianca Mantegna and I am the Youth Activities Coordinator for Grand Outlandish in al-Barran this May.  We have some fun things planned for everyone while attending the event this year. We will have a Youth Activities Pavilion and a schedule of activities will be posted each day and also be available in the Gate Book. We want to have a fun learning experience for each child, but there are some rules we must adhere to in order to have these activities.

*Children ages younger than 7 years old must have adult or older sibling (age 10 and up) present at all times they are at the Youth Pavilion.

*Children under age 7 must have a responsible adult present at all times they are at the Youth Pavilion.

Parents/ guardians over the age of 18 will be required to sign their children each day at the Youth Pavilion.  Parents will also be required to fill out a Medical Release Form(available online at:  http://www.outlands.org/Library/FormsandWaivers/tabid/115/Default.aspx  or at Gate) and the Youth Activities Information Form (available online, at Gate, or the Youth Pavilion) that I will keep with me. All children who do not have direct parental supervision must have a signed copy of the medical release form and contact information for the parent or legal guardian, in their possession at the Youth Pavilion. This way we can contact the guardians if there are any problems and I won't inadvertently expose someone to an allergen during snack time in the afternoons.

Parents/ guardians are asked to please volunteer an hour of their time in the Youth Pavilion so that there are at least two unrelated adults present at all times.  This is so that we are able to keep the activities going and maintain the Corpora required TWO DEEP RULE (two unrelated adults supervising the youth activities at all times).

Thank you for your kind understanding in this matter.

                            Il Dio li benedice,

                                      Lady Bianca Mantegna

Important Information

·   No need to panic, we will be hosting Youth Activities after all. Our dedicated staff are working on many Outlandish activities for the Youths. Stay tuned to this page for information, activities and rules as they develop.

·   Be sure to bring activities and assistance for the fun and comfort of your Youths.

Rules For Youths (and the adults too!) at Outlandish

  1. Major rule is THIS IS NOT A BABYSITTING SERVICE!!!!!
  2. Parent must sign child in to the pavilion. They must put their name, any allergies or food restrictions, & encampment in case of any problems. This is to ensure that we do not inadvertently give your child an allergen during snack time. Please use the form that is online here or in the gate book.
  3. We are requesting that parents volunteer an hour or so of their time if not working the event. This is so that we have plenty of adult help. Adults are encouraged to participate in the activities.
  4. No fighting, swearing or disruption of classes. Anyone who is purposely causing a disruption during activities will be asked to stop said action at once. If they do not stop they will be escorted back to their encampment.
  5. SAFETY FIRST!!!!!!
