To arms! To arms!

Hail mighty populace of al-Barran and the Outlands.

Baron Gregor and Baroness Monica call all fighters to arms for invaders have occupied our lands in Cuba. The barony of Fontaine has challenged us to reclaime our lands for they state Cuba rightfully theirs. There is also a new threat brewing with the People's Resistance lead by the Imperialist General Fedallah Castro for he states that Cuba should be a free state for the people's. Both leaders have staked their claim for Cuban land rights and have assembled their armies to challenge our great warriors to heavy weapons, light weapons and archery. Get your armor repaired, your swords taped and tiped, those bows strung and your banners made so we may crush our enemies and keep Cuba safe from further threats.

*** AMENITIES ***
One of the local restaurants, with close ties to the land owner, will be onsite with burgers, dogs, soda and beer for a nominal price.
*** CAUTIONS ***
  • In the event of a late April storm, the event will be rescheduled to a later date. Check this site for the most current information.
  • Altitude is 7000ft, bring lots of water ... and drink it!
  • The local constabulary takes the safety of it's citizens very seriously and will be collecting taxes from those that flaunt their horsepower.
  • While the site is to be mowed prior to the event, it will still be a broken ground, NM field. Sturdy footwear will be the order of the day. Additionally, it is not "long dress friendly". While no cholla cactus was observed, the sagebrush there would play havoc with one's longer, finer garb.
